LITERACY

Literacy is the acquisition of basic reading, writing and mathematics knowledge and skills. Our literacy classes offer training in English or French from Grades 1 to 9.

TEACHING METHOD

You learning through a system of notebooks. The learner receives a booklet for each module, and an exercices booklet for practice and revision. Knowledge is then evaluated by a test. Once the test passed, the learner can start the next booklet. Everyone can go at their own pace within a personalized schedule grid.

A teacher is available at all times in the classroom to provide individual explanations and answers to learners' questions.

One-on-one tutoring services are also available for people with learning disabilities.

GENERAL EDUCATION

There are two possible ways to get your diploma . Your plans for the future will allow you to choose the best route for you. We are qualified to advise you and help you make the best decision for your situation.

DIGITAL LITERACY

We offer free digital literacy training to help learners use digital technologies. These skills are essential in a computer and technology oriented world.

The digital literacy program is adapted to the needs of each learner. Our goal is to help you develop skills to use a computer, the Internet, an email account, search engines as well as the Microsoft Office software.

A digital literacy teacher visits literacy classes and assesses each person's interest and needs, then offers computer learning sessions a few times a week.
